Season 2 Is Coming: Let’s Keep Running

There’s something about starting again. Not from scratch. But from where you are now.

A little older.
A little more aware.
A little more shaped by what life has handed you.

That’s where we find ourselves heading into Season 2 of Running Ahrens. And if we’re honest, a lot has happened since we last sat down behind the microphones. There have been new beginnings. The kind that bring energy and a little uncertainty. There has been loss. The kind that slows you down and makes you look at things differently. There has been joy. Not always loud, but steady. The kind you feel in small, quiet moments.

And then there’s everything in between. The normal, messy, in-progress parts of life that don’t always make it into conversations, but probably should.

Why We’re Excite d

Season 1 started as something simple. Our kids were growing up. The house felt different. Life was shifting in ways we couldn’t quite name yet. Sitting down to talk became a way for us to stay connected in the middle of it.

We didn’t set out to make something for other people.

But somewhere along the way, people started listening. And more than that, they started sharing how it made them feel.

Seen. Understood. Less alone.

That changed things for us.It made this feel less like something we were doing… and more like something we were part of.

What This Season Holds

Season 2 starts in early April. And it’s going to look a lot like real life.

We’ll keep talking about marriage. Not the highlight version. The real version that grows, stretches, and sometimes asks more of you than you expected. We’ll keep talking about parenting. Especially as kids get older and the relationship shifts in ways you don’t always see coming. We’ll talk about family dynamics. The good, the complicated, and the parts that take time to understand.

We’ll talk about running a business while trying to stay grounded at home. And we’ll keep sharing our own perspective. Not as experts, but as people living it in real time.

There will be more conversations with guests too. People with different stories, different backgrounds, different ways of seeing the world.

Because one thing we’ve learned is this. The details of our lives may look different. But the questions we’re all asking are often the same.

What We’re Learning

If there’s one thing this past season of life has reminded us, it’s this: You don’t get to control what shows up. But you do get to choose how you move through it.

Together.

Some days that looks like clarity.
Some days it looks like patience.
Some days it just looks like showing up when you don’t feel ready.

All of it counts.

A Quiet Thank You

If you listened to Season 1, thank you.
If you shared an episode, thank you.
If you reached out, even in a small way, to say something mattered… thank you.

We carry that with us more than you probably realize.

What’s Next

Season 2 starts in early April. We’re looking forward to getting back into these conversations. Not because we have something new to prove, but because we have more to share.

More life. More perspective. More questions we’re still working through.

And if you’re up for it, we’d love for you to keep running with us.
